Pay later function

Updated on 12 October 2023

How does it work?

The BCV TWINT app lets you pay for purchases from certain retailers at a later date. With the feature, you have up to 30 days to pay, giving you more control over your money.

To take advantage of this option, you need to sign up with Swissbilling, which will pay the retailer for your purchase. You will then need to reimburse Swissbilling within 30 days.

How do I start using it?

To use this feature, you must be 18 years or older and live in Switzerland. Swissbilling carries out additional screening, such as credit checks, when you sign up for its services, and decides whether to provide you with credit for each transaction. BCV also reserves the right to restrict some or all of this service

How do I deactivate Pay later?

  • Open the BCV TWINT app and tap the menu icon
  • Select “Pay later"
  • Deactivate the “Allow pay later” option

To close your Pay later account with Swissbilling, please contact the company.

Whom do I contact if I have a question or problem?

The pay later service is offered by TWINT SA and Swissbilling (the credit provider); BCV is not involved. Any questions about eligibility for the service or credit decisions should be directed to Swissbilling.

Please contact Swissbilling customer support if you have any questions

  • Telephone: 058 226 11 11 (Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm)
  • Email: twint@swissbilling.ch
