TWINT ID


Legal information

TWINT ID is a value-added feature in the BCV TWINT app that allows customers to create a customer profile that they can use with various online services. This service offered by TWINT SA is optional, and customers themselves must enter the necessary information.

 

Liability

TWINT ID is managed solely by TWINT SA. BCV plays no role in TWINT ID and does not have access to customers’ TWINT ID data or activity. Customers should know that, if they use TWINT ID, retailers may become aware of their banking relationship with BCV.

 

Description, costs, and service limitations

With TWINT ID, users have the option of entering their first name, last name, delivery address, email address, telephone number, and date of birth. They can also create a profile name and an avatar. TWINT ID streamlines the ordering process by transmitting users’ information to retailers so that users don’t have to enter it manually.

TWINT ID is free of charge.

TWINT ID is only available for customers who live in Switzerland. Customers who live outside Switzerland are not allowed to use TWINT ID.
