Preparing for your first home-financing meeting

Document checklist for your first meeting with your BCV advisor

Your BCV advisor will be happy to sit down with you to discuss your home-financing options and needs.

Please bring the following documents with you (or email them to your advisor beforehand):

  • Your most recent tax return (complete copy; if you are self-employed, please bring your last three tax returns)
  • Your most recent salary certificate
  • Your last three pay slips (with proof that you receive a 13th month payment, if applicable)
  • An extract from the debt collection office dated within the previous six months
  • If you are interested in purchasing an existing property, the sales brochure or a description of the property (photos, price, plot number, etc.)
  • If you plan to build or renovate your home, information on your project (plans, price, plot number, draft agreement with the general contractor or architect)
